Scuba diving is a lot of fun. At the same time, it can be quite stressful. I used to get very panicky when I thought I didn’t have enough weight or was wearing too much wetsuit. I learned that diving with less is the best way to dive. Before I moved out of Florida, I was only diving with a rash guard, trunks, and very little weight. It was freedom.
I borrowed a friend’s camera for this trip because it shot RAW. What an amazing technology, to be able to remove the blue (or add red) to underwater photos without degrading the image file. Of course, the edits from this first use of RAW mostly suck and and didn’t know that I could zoom so far out that the housing showed up in the frame. This was one of the few gems of the bunch. Very spooky.
